Let’s face it: moving is exhausting and usually a headache, even when you’re excited about it. They say you don’t know how much stuff you have until you have to move it! But it doesn’t have to be such a pain when you have the right help and support system in place.

Imagine being packed, moved, and unpacked in a week’s time without doing any of it yourself. We’ve saved more than one marriage – ha!

Our team particularly shines when clients have belongings going to multiple locations. Sorting, labeling, and color-coding boxes by location (apt, storage, lake house, etc) is easy for us to build into the packing process.

Initial Assessment

We will visit your home or office to discuss how much or how little you’d like for our team to manage.

We can manage the entire move from beginning to end or any smaller portion of the process.

The initial walkthru usually takes about an hour. From there we either provide our estimate via email or coordinate a follow-up visit with additional trades.

Work Sessions

It’s time to get to it!

We arrive at your home or office to either work along side you or to just “get it done” while you’re away.

TIME COMMITMENT

  • Moves can range anywhere from 2-4 days to over a week depending on much of the project Organized Chick manages.
  • Plan on multiple 9am – 4:30pm sessions. Up to five team members can be added to shorten the duration as needed.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Work sessions vary considerably based on our team’s involvement with your move. Expectations are covered during the Initial Assessment.
  • We bring our own supplies: tables, packing paper, boxes, garbage bags, labels, ladders, tools – everything needed for packing and unpacking. Some clients prefer to provide their owe supplies and that is okay too.
  • We help you declutter prior to the move – why pay to move things you no longer want? We’ll also arrange for the removal of discarded items.
  • We safely pack your entire home. Lamps, heirlooms, fragile art – all the things that most homeowners loathe packing. We do it quickly and with ease.
  • We can hire a moving company to move your items and then oversee Move Day to get your things safely to your new home.
  • We finish unpacking the rest of your home the next day or in the few days that follow depending on the size of the project. We love either styling your home for you or coordinating with your interior designer.
  • You want to start off in a Pinterest-worthy space? We got you. We can measure/install your closets, purchase the perfect organizers, and add labels to your bins. We also hang curtain rods and most pieces of art.
  • We clean-up at the end of each day to the point you’re not living in a big mess until our next visit.
